Mitch + Celina | Elope at Smith Mountain Lake

An elopement at the family lake house – where the bride essentially took a boat ride to the altar, and the groom witnessed it all from the freshly built dock. The sunrise served as the most beautiful backdrop while Smith Mountain Lake provided a beautiful morning mist floating just above it.

Mitch + Celina said their vows in private under the tall forest trees, after saying their “I do’s”. All while I stood just far enough away where I couldn’t hear their intimate words, but I could feel all the love they each exuded.

After the brother-in-law gave us an epic ride along the lake for their very own bridal portraits, we met up at an old school-turned-restaurant with a Texan/Italian cuisine. Meaning there could be nothing more fitting than being surprised with cowboy hats by your mom the second you made your first entrance as husband and wife. Congratulations, The Phillips – yeehaw!
