I’m Karen, and I so deeply believe in capturing real moments, in all of their glory. From everyday happenings to life-changing occasions, my goal is to be there for it all. My vision is simple. It doesn’t involve a studio or stiff posing or props. I focus on bottling up real memories in photographs, so that when you look back, you feel just as enamored as you did in the moment. Whether that’s here in my hometown of Northern Virginia, an intimate elopement on the West Coast, or a magical place abroad, I’ll be there.

My Approach
raw, genuine, in-the-moment
Simply put, I want to document the real stuff, the relationships and emotions you share with your loved ones. There is something special about images that capture a sliver of authentic action, and I aim to be there to freeze that moment in time for you to look back on. Don’t kill the magic by feeling like you need to fit some sort of posed mold. Don’t feel like you’re doing it for the ‘gram. Feel like you’re doing it because you want to treasure this exact moment in time, even if no one else ever sees it.
Film, digital, or a mix of both, the result is the same:
photos that feel like you, now and always.
